Stucco Week, Part 1

This week marks a big change for the bungalow’s exterior. The white stucco is being repaired and painted.

All of the cracks have been filled, and the side porch, once a bedroom covered with wood paneling, has been power washed. The black dots to which the paneling was affixed have been scraped off and sanded down.

Tomorrow: the painting begins. We initially decided on a color called Simply Sage (more on that in this post). But now we’re going with something a bit darker: Lizard Green.

It should look like an entirely different house when we get home from work tomorrow. In the meantime, here are a few pics of the process so far.
